The attempt to pass dangerously close to start with was just dangerous driving.
The move up alongside later was attempted murder.
That moron needs locking up, in the absence on a death penalty.
He should certainly never ever drive anything on the roads again.
And if his employer reads this, and doesn’t dismiss him for this, they are accepting liability for his future actions.

You can’t let this fella go, he could easily kill a cyclist tomorrow or the day after.
I drive a HGV tanker myself, he clearly couldn’t give a fig about bicycles or he’s drunk.
